PJ Ryan’s opened its doors in early July, 2008 and has greeted guests with the same genuine family atmosphere that their other locations are known for (West Chester — Philly). Friendly, attentive staff members are the norm at any of the Ryan’s establishments and so is great food. Just like the pub in West Chester, the menu at PJ Ryans is full of delicious choices including their famous buffalo wings, enormous sandwiches, healthy salads and of course real meat and potato dishes like pan seared crab cakes and mouth watering Prime Rib. Guests enjoy their food in one of three lively main rooms that make up PJ Ryan’s. The entire restaurant is smoke free with beautiful hardwood floors, tin ceilings and walls adorned with family mementoes and images of Phoenixville’s past. There are two large bars with stately leather booths, hightop tables and family style bench seating. No matter where you sit you are sure to have a view of at least one of the 9 flat screen TV’s.

This place is awesome... has a wonderful atmosphere and great service... I could go on and on but go check it out for your self! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Very clean and very cool! Also the beer is always cold and great customer service!

I prefer this restaurant very much. there is a happy ambiance. The kitcen is superb. the service is efficient and the waiters are trained. The price is honest. truly recommend.

Great food and their signature creamy crab and pepper Jack cheese bisque was very, very tasty. Waitress made a few mistakes and didn't seem to know answers to a couple questions we had.

Diablo Chicago's review was submitted by a disgruntled customer who was flagged. PJ's is the best bar on bridge street. Good mix of people, and big mike and the cheriff make an amazing double team.

We came here to grab some food while in Phoenixville when traveling for work. we started with the Irish corned beef spring rolls which were pretty good. I liked the dipping sauce that came with them.Then we got a shaved prime rib dipper and the dogwood burger. I enjoyed the prime rib sandwich and the goat cheese on top. The burger wasn't great in my opinion. It was way overcooked making it dry and lacking flavor. The fries that came with the sandwiches were amazing. The service wasn't great either. Once we got our food, the waitress was MIA and it took forever to get our checks. Once we did get our checks, it took a long time to get our cards back. If you're looking for a bar that has decent food too, this is your place.

Didn't see the upstairs bars. Was in the basement the band was good. The mens room was clean . I think the drinks were reasonable .

If you are looking for a solid place to have a bite to eat and a pint to drink, then you have found your place! The atmosphere is a mix between a neighborhood bar and a restaurant. There’s plenty of space the food is above average and the prices are very reasonable. If you’re looking for a place to set up shop and hang for a bit then this is the place.

I'm all for super spicy chicken wing. So, I can say this is the place for it. It's just exactly as I thought it would be--spicy! Not just covered with some hot-sweet sauce or only sour kind of spicy (hot Tabasco taste like) but you can taste other spices as well.Love the mussels too. Order it in red sauce. Had dessert as well, I think it was cheese cake inside friend tortilla, it Was ok.Waitress was nice, service is quite fast even for busy weekend/Saturday night.

Excellent St. Paddy's Day experience. My wife and I rarely go out with our 5 year old, the experience was great. We immediately ordered one drink and the waitress could tell immediately that my wife did not like it. They were so nice and replaced it promptly. The food was a*mazing! The chicken pie with pastry crust just melts away on the fork. We were never rushed and got to hear an Irish band in the bar area. Very good establishment in Pville
